Osmotex micro- and nanopumps
Osmotex technology represent a new generation of electroosmotic (EO) micropumps.
Osmotex' development is based on advanced electrokinetics research, and is protected by several patents. We have developed a range of products and prototypes optimized for different applications.
Our main technology advantage is the ability to obtain high flows and pressures using a low AC or DC voltage. Our development has resulted in achievements such as:
- Bubble-free pumping of pure water, alcohols, and aqueous solutions
- Control by standard low-voltage electronics
- Microfabricated on-chip pumps (prototype stage)
- Free standing pumps (commercial stage)
Osmotex offers a range of generic micropumps, and do also engages in application specific development for customers. The technology is highly scalable, with flowrates ranging from sub nanoliter to several ml per minute. Current designs can offer pressures up to ca 1 bar, higher pressure pumps are under development.
